Country quiche


Makes 2 pies
1 pound pork sausage
1 teaspoon baking powder
20 grapes tomatoes sliced in half, sprinkle with salt
8 large eggs
1/2 cup half/ half
10 ounce sharp cheddar cheese grated
Salt and pepper
2 store bought pie crust for your pie pan or buy 2 9 inch frozen pie shells thawed

Preheat oven 350 F
In a skillet cook sausage until browned and cooked then remove with slotted spoon.
In a bowl mix baking powder, eggs, half/half and tomatoes add sausage and cheese. Add salt and pepper and divide between both pie shells.
Bake  until filling is set, about 30 minutes. Serve warm or room temperature.
